One the happiest surprises I could have as kid is when they broadcasted "unexpected" cartoons when their schedule changed, especially on weekends

@The Countess yeah, one of the first things I noticed in the US, the kid shows were all at 3 PM and Saturday mornings. In Brazil they had TV shows for kids in the mornings, until they passed a law prohibiting TV ads directed at children. they basically killed the ability to sponsor shows for children. Then they put TV morning talk shows for liberal women. pretty much like it's in the US
