I remember when the first Street Fighter came out in the arcade. Everyone was struggling trying to perform a fireball. lol

side scrolling beat em ups were my fav, like the Turtles and Simpsons games

Home consoles ruined arcades.

House of the Dead too and Virtua Cop, but that was later

My first game for the nes was Mike Tyson's Punchout. Hard game.

The older titles were challenging. Mega Man for example. Today's games hold your hand through them with cheats, unlockables etc.
