Luv hamsters. Had many when I was a kid.

Snowball had narcolepsy when he got old. Poor darling would just fall over/out. He lived the hamster good life tho.

Yeah. Sadly you just never know for sure how long pets like hamsters, gerbils and rats will live. I had a pet rat once and took good care of him and he passed away within a year or two if memory serves.

I think rats live longer when they're with other rats.

We used to get our bedding and food for the hamsters at the pet store made by Hartz. I think that with the rats not doing so well as pets may be God's way of saying we shouldn't have them as pets.

With some exceptions it boils down to common sense. When Mike Tyson was younger he bought to young tigers only to have to get rid of them when they grew up because they could kill him.

This couple rescued these bears I believe. It is a very compassionate thing to do but could also be lethal imo. They've had them over a decade I believe.

Yep they are taking a risk. You never know what wild animals could do at any moment.
