I don't enjoy hot weather. I can't imagine living in a tropical climate. I love the Bay Area for that reason.

It occurred @ 10 am. I was down town. People were freaking. We were ordered to go to higher ground. Thankfully no tidal wave

I think those are the worst, when people are out and about in normal activities. Driving, working, busy living...

I thought my home was destroyed. Not even a crack. Half of the H20 sloshed out of the pool, and flood part of the garden.

That's a good outcome. We had all the water in our hot tub slosh out as well during the Loma Prieta earthquake.
