Speaking of 'Lucky' - best early game weapon you can get. Get the lockpicks and magazine from Sunny, but don't use them in the schoolhouse -- use them in the Bison Steve gift shop.

Shaddpa noob, the best early weapon is to open the schoohouse safe, get the Stealth Boy, get the shovel from the second water well, go past the cemetary in sneak mode and dig up to knife...

Yeah, Chance's knife is okay. But Lucky is the best early-game ranged weapon. Only Medicine Stick beats it. :D
