In the summer we store winter things up on the lift and raise it to the max so it is easier to walk under. We keep all our summer stuff under the lift in the summer...easy to access. And my big ass workbench, which I roll to the other side of the garage when I want to use it for...working.

Having a 4 post lift is pretty useful. You need a real high garage, though.

In about 2003 I was walking my dogs through a corn field and we came out in a different neigbourhood. There was a guy working on his bike (a Harley I think). I stopped to talk to him. Then I looked in his garage as saw a car...way...up....there!!?! What is that!?!? You have a lift in your garage?

he got it used....but his is some big heavy duty lift. He has two big diesel Ram trucks...one with that 5th Wheel hitch in the back....one with a camper unit in the back. Now when I say camper unit, I am talking big and fancy...
