I use Safari sometimes, but mostly I use Chrome.

I picked up a Mac a while back and loaded chrome and google on it and it was fine for about a year then started crashing a lot I just started moving over to safari so far much more stable

Macs will do that. Just quit the application and restart it and it should be fine. Safari is very stable, though. I just use Chrome moar because it syncs up with all my Google shit better.
