I like seeing Rancid's jungle videos.

I've seen some people calling it "dragon palm" and now I understand why

Those palm fronds do have the look of a dragon, Rancy.

I tried to buy one once. Real expensive. They are so awesome when they are 25 feet tall

@Seamajor they're triangular palm trees, but some call them dragon palms, because as they grow they sometimes resemble a dragon's face, like Lily said

I checked those traveler palms, they look like peacocks, nice

But they seem very fragile, probably wouldn't resist the winds we have here

They claim it’s a palm but the fronds look like from a Plantain tree. Maybe we’re not talking about the same tree, however the look is similar

@Seamajor yeah, looking closely the leaves do look like those from banana trees and when they're smaller, they definitely look like garden bananas as we call them here

But they grow a pal-like trunk when they get bigger

And indeed, they do belong to the banana family, Musaceae

And they are from Madagascar, that explains the weirdness

I always wanted to visit the jungle, @RANCIDMILKO ™ ®© but I'm guessing the bugs suck.

Our boys fought and died in the jungles of Vietnam, you can't handle a few bugs on a vacation? Live a little.

One of the reasons I like the West is because we have a lot fewer bugs. Too dry for a lot of bugs.

Here in my neck of the woods, spiders and catterpillars are the worst ones
