I've been to Spain twice since I've lived here. I don't know as much about their government. There is a lot going on with all the groups who want to secede, etc., but I don't know in general how different our governments are. We're having a big election in Portugal soon. I wonder if Trump nonsense will have an impact on the right wing here. @Jack.

Portugal is socialist, mostly. But we have a parliamentary system with multiple parties, so it makes it very different from the US.

Everyone I have ever met here thinks Trump is insane. They don't get pissed off. They are very polite. They always, always, always ask me why Americans voted for Trump. They don't understand it.
