It's all suburbia and strip malls around here now. When I moved here, the population of the nearest town was 3,500. (I live in an unincorporated area). Now it's close to 40,000.

Sure. It's a nice area. Not a lot of crime. All kinds of stores and restaurants nearby. And if I wanted to go downtown to a WHITE SOX game, it's an hour drive.
