Thanks, Rancy. Wow. I feel like I've been through the wringer. One of my neighbor's is in the care home now, and very sad about it. Went to visit her today. So rough.

Today she was just sobbing and I was hugging her and I felt like screaming and crying when I left, but couldn't because of ehr sister.

That is very sad. It's too bad no one was able to live and take care of her. My grandma died at home, never went to a home. Thank God.

I think it's better for them to die in their own homes, even if they die in there by accident. The people in the care home are not happy. At least at her house she felt in control of her life, and lots of people visited her all the time. She has only one child and he and his wife and their daughter all work.

West of you.
I feel fortunate I was able to care for my Mother when she was in her dementia spiral, even though I had to essentially ‘retire’ to do so.
