Picked up a no caller ID call a few hours ago. Some guy saying he’s a police officer and is now a good time to talk. He never mentioned his name only that he was this town’s place. I assume what he wanted. He said again is now a good time to talk. I told him to “go fuck himself” and just hung up… thinking it was some punk kid who’s been coming at me for talking to his girlfriend.

Okay. Portuguese is insane. I visited my neighbor in the care home yesterday. I asked her how she was doing and she said what sounded like, phonetically, A vee tow. Three syllables. She said it maybe four times because I didn't understand what she was saying and I kept tell her. She slowed down, and spoke louder. A (like the letter A) VEE (like the letter V) and Tow (like tow my car. Or I have 10 toes.)
