Upper income people buy more. So they pay more towards any extra costs that the tariffs might cause. And then that money goes to the lower/middle income. I would think just about everyone would get behind this. Rxcept maybe hard right wing people.

X, the inflation is due to a number of factors. There are going to be initial costs as manufacturing is brought back to the USA. Tariffs need some time to work....people are so impatient.

Trump made a mistake when he tariffed products that are not Made in USA, too. I heard he is trying to correct that mistake. If Trump was nearly as intelligent as me, USA would be thriving in every way.

USA needs more manufacturing. So does Canada. We all basically need more jobs to perform, because technology is making us so much more efficient. Tariffs are a way to incentivize buying domestically made products.
