This is a little embarrassing to post, but here it goes.

One Christmas I got Final Fantasy II for the SNES. I ignored the warnings about using a Game Genie on it and one of my characters (Dragoon) jumped up for the big spear attack and got stuck up there. I couldn't fix it no matter what I did so I decided to pull a swifty on Squaresoft. I sent them a letter complaining that their game quality was atrocious and full of bugs or whatever and that they should be more professional. I gave them my phone number in the letter and shipped it with the game to Square. About a week and a half to 2 weeks later I get a phone call from Square. I was just dying to set them straight. (I had to play the role of a pissed off customer. Right?) Before I could speak

the dude on the phone said "I bet that you didn't think that we could tell that you used a Game Genie on it huh? We'll ship your game back to you.

I didn't know what to say so I said thank you and that was it.
