We had company for dinner last night...friends...a married couple. The woman's father is diabetic. She got a call from her father's doctor a few days ago. He was trying to get a hold of her father, but was not able to reach him. Long story short....his blood sugar levels were dangerously high....he needed to go to the ER....

Got there at 11pm. Was not seen by a doctor until noon the next day.
