Im out of the water for the moment… there are so many sharks. Last fortnight we had over 4 attacks in less than 48 hrs!

I love sharks, but it’s getting ridiculous. I’m not up on culling…but what is the answer? Drum lines aren’t working. Nets seem the only choice with all the collateral damage.

It used to be White Sharks, now it’s Bull Sharks. In CR it was Crocs

I have a mate in the shark’s board and the stats on drum lines aren’t good. There’s been an increase in attacks but no increase in bait taken. Drum lines need to work in conjunction with nets. Basically you remove 50% of the nets with a couple drum lines. The government here is clueless really. And then we have a bunch of freaks on social media saying it’s the sharks territory. No doubt they don’t use the ocean.
