I developed cutting-edge software for the administration of Group Insurance including the best extended health care and dental care claims adjudication software on the market. It allowed the company I worked for to gow their customer base fast. Very fast. I integrated EDI dental and Drug Cards to the system. When other large companies (like Manulife and Sun Life) used Green Shield and Blue Cross to process their drug card claims, we developed our own software. When I quit, I left software behind that was my pride and joy. 15 years later I was talking with a friend who still works there (an underwriter) and he was talking about the system. I assumed they had developed something new by

Drug Interactions. That was something I implemented too. That was a bit of a pain. The books/datafiles that detail the drug interactions refer to the *ingredients* that interact. The DINs do not specify ingredients. So we had to hire a pharmacist to fill in the data for our database....basically what ingredients were in what drug (by DIN). And he needed to idetify what interactions should be reported to the pharmacist (with drug card claims) or patient (with paper/reimbursement claims).
