Buce Springsteen is aging like Rachel Maddow. One is gardened in the valley girl state & the other is valleyed in the garden state.

Gloucester County was a good place for kids in the 70's and early 80's, then immigrants moved in like locusts.

I remember Newark smelling of grapes, a lot of Portuguese homes had vines

I went to get on the Philly beltway one time & accidentally went into Camden. It was free to go into Camden but I had to pay to get out. True NJ story.

My town had mostly Italians, hispanics, and Irish. Then the turd skins and 3rd worlders moved in.

I've never actually been in New Jersey, but I smelled it from across a river once.

I didn't like getting demolition work to do, but it was interesting, you'd always find old stuff lost in attics, basements, hidden inside walls

That was NYC, Reggie.... it can smell absolutely putrid some days.

One time I found a bunch of underground comics in an old home

I can tell you where I'm headed to if blindfolded in the back of trunk, just by smell alone..... around the 20 mile mark, NYC has this unique unholy putrid smell..

I enjoyed reading MAD when I was a kid, but those were simply insane
