I designated drove for a bunch of coworkers to Octoberfest 25 years ago but couldn't resist having another stein of DAB beer....and another...and another... and another. I was so blotto that I knew I could not maintain road etiquette AND a sense of direction, so I told all those fellow drunk motherfuckers "not a peep. Only one designated person who navigate with "left, right, straight, stop". We drove all around the city for two hours trying to avoid the booze buses but passed through 4 of them, but they waved us through because of too much of a backlog....lol

I come from a long line of drunk horse riders and machinery operators. I suppose the moral of the story is know your limits and capabilities. It was a very safe and uneventful drive.... because I was focused solely on driving....
