I have post graduate degrees in a number of fields, yet I was plowing heavy machinery through pristine remote bushland and trying to not get bit by snakes when I needed to piss or shit up to a few years ago. Now I'm back in logistics and work is asking me to attend licensing to drive Bdoubles. I've driven semi trucks without licences before, but fuck me... I don't want to drag big trailers.... BUT AGAIN... adapt.

That was a difficult time. Yeah I was depressed like a lot of people but the course kinda helped.

I even passed.

It's tough to stay focussed when it felt like Nuclear Winter.

Well, I'm kinda semi-retired now, but I still work part time.

I don't think it's healthy to sit around doing nothing. A person just rots

I was going to start small side biz in the future too, just to stay occupied.

I have no degrees, other than my GED. I tried vet assistant but then I realized I'm too queasy. Cosmetology, but I didn't like my classmates and billing and coding wasn't going to work either. lol

Won't worry if it makes any money or not. Just do it fer fun and learn a surival skill.

I feel so young around most of you lol

Some jobs that may be good for women in the future are cosmetology, hair dressing, esthetician or skin care.

Cuz no matter how many robots they make or how good they get, their customers, mostly women, will never wanna be made up by an android.

So I honestly don't think that AI and robotics will solve EVERYTHING nor replace humans COMPLETELY.

They can, Iggy, but not very well. I've seen it done on YouTube with a primitive robot.

But again, I just don't see how women will want their hair to be cut by a robot, have their make up applied by one, or let it do hair removal or skin care for them.

Because they'll view that as an invasion of their personal space

The ones who push AI on the rest of us are Men and a lot of them are full of shit.
