I’m considering anything that is within a 2.5 hour drive from LA

Preferably something in the top of the hills where we can dig out and accumulate snow run off from a natural creek into a swim hole

It is in the big vacay areas like Palm Springs and Vegas… I’m thinking Tehachapi
