I worked the 3rd shift for a time. Getting hammered at 9 in the morning was pretty much the same as getting hammered at 6 at night.

I found it all very weird. Don't know how I got through that stretch except that we all do what we gotta do....when we gotta do it.

True, true. Of all the shifts, I always liked 2nd the best. You could get up early and do shit before work, or you could sleep in later if you wanted.

Aaaaah, yes 2nd was good, but the full overnight sucked it.
I prefer nights.... more alone time at home for myself, better salary and perks (I get 7 weeks a year just for holidays), and I like sitting out on my porch with my dog and a bottle of whiskey watching the normies do their normy shit. Plus there is ALWAYS somebody home. If puppy doesn't stop them, somebody will.
