You had to wait for the title screen and do that pattern.

I never cheated on arcade games, or video games in general. I was good at getting the pinball to go wherever I wanted without tilting it.

One would make it say "Original Game" in the corner of the screen. The other would make it say "Power Up"...that might be wrong...I forget for sure what it said....but you would have to do that on a specific screen when it was showing different screens before you put in any money.

They were not really cheat codes in Bubble Bobble. When you played and got to treasure rooms, there were clues on the treasure chests...clues to the codes

You could no finish Bubble Bobble without knowing those codes.
