@Breakfall they're really common here as snacks to have with booze, you can find them pretty much anywhere. Quail meat, on the other hand, not so much.

I give them 5 minutes in boiling water and they come out great

They go great with beer because they're filling but not too much to make you feel stuffed

The beer is Cerpa, it's made with water from the Amazon river. They're more expensive, probably the most expensive national beer, and I always thought the "Amazon water" was only a gimmick, but they're pretty good.
