I usually prefer basmati rice

Cuban lady taught me to take minced garlic put it into hot oil, soon as it starts to brown pour it over steamed rice

Basmati is a lot thicker than the one we have here and it seems to stick less

We will make rice 3-4 times per week and it is easy using our rice cooker.

The basmati I get is from india, it is very long grain, but has a lower starch content so not sticky.

I think the rice we consume here is what you call "long-grain" there

I believe Brazil has trade tariffs on India and the US.

Most basmati is grown in those two countries.

My qife and kids love it. Though I insist on low starch rice.
