I do admit, I generally like our Mediterranean climate. We won't see real rain until October.

It's rains here even in the summer. Which is good sometimes as it breaks the humidity.

It's dry, dry...that's why our hills are yellow or brown in the summer. We don't have high humidity, not enough moisture.

I'm in the south of England and the humidity is a bstard.

I can't stand humidity, I was born and raised in this climate. It's why I don't think of travelling afar in the summer. That and kids.

I bet @reaper It's pretty mild where I live and when I go see family in the desert, it's like 120 some days. I freak out.

I thought california was always hot.Perhaps I've got it mixed up where you live.

It's hotter than England, but the SF Bay Area is around 70 average year round (if you factor winter in). SF can be cold, even in the summer

It's 67 degrees today in SF, where I live it's going to top out in the high 80s
