I am pretty good. I beat Magnus Carlsen 19 out of 20 games over the last week. He's really showing signs of improvement.

All kidding aside, it's truly mindboggling the level that Grandmasters play at. If I was God I'd take a human form and win every game.

Yeah. It's incredible. I've always wanted to play a GM but haven't gotten to yet.

It's unbelievably difficult to become a GM.

My best win has been against a 1600 player.i can't imagine what it's like to play someone 2000 +

Yep. It was very long ago. His name is Robert Hamilton. He was an IM I believe. Problem is he became an alcoholic and his chess went to hell sadly.

I remember analyzing my position and felt that it was fairly even until he pulled off this combo and I ended up giving up a rook and pawn just to prevent mate.

Hard to believe but my 964 rating puts me in the top %75 of the world. You can check your own on your profile .

As far as drinking I believe Mikhail Tal drank like a fish and still played at a GM level. Don't ask me how. lol

There are only like around 1300 Grandmasters in the world today. Pretty elite club there.
