[cw_]

[cw_]

there could be castling

[reaper]

I'm average ms.w. Alticus is pretty good. Let's us know if you ever fancy a game.

[cw_]

will do

[The Real Alticus]

I am pretty good. I beat Magnus Carlsen 19 out of 20 games over the last week. He's really showing signs of improvement.

[The Real Alticus]

All kidding aside, it's truly mindboggling the level that Grandmasters play at. If I was God I'd take a human form and win every game.

[The Real Alticus]

Get a rating of like 3455 or something.

[The Real Alticus]

Okay, I admit it. Those comments above are silly. In my defense I'm stoned.

[reaper]

They have a mind that can work 10 moves in advance.A normal person does not.

[The Real Alticus]

Yeah. It's incredible. I've always wanted to play a GM but haven't gotten to yet.

[The Real Alticus]

It's unbelievably difficult to become a GM.

[reaper]

My best win has been against a 1600 player.i can't imagine what it's like to play someone 2000 +

[reaper]

We must continue with the chess talk too as it pisses of Mr.X lol.

[The Real Alticus]

lol The strongest player I ever played was like 2400. I don't think I need to tell you how that game went.

[reaper]

lol

[reaper]

That's international master rating.

[The Real Alticus]

Yep. It was very long ago. His name is Robert Hamilton. He was an IM I believe. Problem is he became an alcoholic and his chess went to hell sadly.

[reaper]

That must be why I suck then lol.I drink to much.

[The Real Alticus]

I remember analyzing my position and felt that it was fairly even until he pulled off this combo and I ended up giving up a rook and pawn just to prevent mate.

[reaper]

Hard to believe but my 964 rating puts me in the top %75 of the world. You can check your own on your profile .

[The Real Alticus]

As far as drinking I believe Mikhail Tal drank like a fish and still played at a GM level. Don't ask me how. lol

[The Real Alticus]

Maybe I'll check my rating out.

[The Real Alticus]

There are only like around 1300 Grandmasters in the world today. Pretty elite club there.

[reaper]

Go to stats and click on `daily` it gives you a % of what you are in the world.

[Lily]

What is the numerator on that stat, @reaper ?
