I've actually looked into buying inexpensive property in Brazil @RANCIDMILKO ™ ®© . However if a person is a foreigner it's quite problematic. Lottsa bureaucracy & restrictions or prohibitions. it seems like it's a closed market to outsiders. Not like Portugal where they allow foreigners to buy their land.
