. Reggie, like all conservatives is a no-thinky parrot. What he says in disparaging the greater portion of Americans, as well as humanity as a whole, is just what he hears on right wing radio and some talking heads on the tel. He hears them and mimics them, parrots what they say with their incidiery speach.
...and where do they get it from? They get it right from the top, right from the Trump Ministry of Truth, for as Trump told his lemmings "only I will tell you the truth", and thems dunces believe him. It is his hate speech, everyone from women to any political rival, his lack of decorum which is emulated by his army of MAGA zombies.
