Damn josephine, looks like you cunts are even more libtarded than I imagined!
.I'd say...go with the winnah...Lokmeer!
Whomever that might be.
That way Federal funding favors those who ever voted for or supported the winner.
So...what I might do, is contribute equally to the Liberal and Conservative campaigns.
And they might look at that and say, "Oh that guy contributed to our coffers. Maybe we oughta throw a contract his way.
Anyways, this next guv is likely to last only another 2 years.
If none of the parties has enough seats for a majority then these type of governments are unstable often don't last long, eh.
Worse for Big Government, Big Biz, but better for the guy on Main Street.
That's why the Banks, Corporations and bureaucrats hate these kind of situations.
Less power for them, but more power for the average person.
In minority governments, the party in power tries harder for everyone because they have to.
They can't just dole out favors for their friends.
Because the sitting government know they can fall anytime, they often do more for the people.
And so the governments aren't too extreme or power hungry.
That's why the Powers that Be in America never want minority governments where the people rule.
They never want a Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura or Ross Perot character to come up the middle & deliver favors for the Guy on Main Street.
But I think your country is paying a huge price socially by demanding either a Republican or Democratic Majority every time.
Because it leads to excessive concentration of power and of course, corruption.
Anyways, I don't hate anyone who votes for or is a Conservative.
Someone from their camp phoned me the other day.
Seemed like a nice guy.
I actually agree with some of their platform, others things I don't.
I don't think there is such a hate-on in Canada from the Left for the Right.
Or the Right for the Left. We learn to co-exist better than you folks do in America.
It should never be about screwing the other parties or people over
There should always be a Liberal or Conservative opposition.
Because it ffers a balance and keeps the democracy alive.
The two main parties should rotate every now and then.
It shouldn't be about Kill Liberals or destroy the conservatives.
Anyways, something tells me this will be Trudeau's last election.
Even if he wins he might not run again next election.
the Liberals might have a new leader next time.
But, if this government is short lived, never know.
See what happens, eh.
