Well, maybe he was being a racist, because Covid was coming from Europe at the time, and he didn't ban flights from Europe. Remember Covid hit NY first. Those weren't flights from China bringing it to NY.
He brought that in roughly March. Virtually nothing in Europe but shitloads in Wuhan and other cities. Pelosi was hugging Chinese Americans and telling people to go out and hug someone in their respective Chinatown's....because she reckoned Trump was obviously racist despite China halting ALL domestic travel in affected regions yet allowing international flights away from those very same regions.
Same thing happened years before when Trump put a ban on those coming from war ravaged Islamic nations. Media said he was an Islamaphobe, despite him not banning flights in from the largest Muslim nations such as Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, et cetera...
