As far as ever being a "mod" here again, I think that Bastard Factory and myself can agree that it wouldn't be a good idea.
You know, X, have you ever really pm'd the big guy in a serious manner? Like you know, putting commas at the end of sentences and making your posts more legible? BF isn't going to put anyone in a mod position, unless he trusts you and knows your motivations, though it might be different for different poster's. I can only talk about my own experiences regarding this.
I doubt BF is going to pick anyone out of the blue and bestow on them a modship. So, good communication is a good rule of thumb. Also, the motivation on why you want to be a mod is equally important as to, do you know how to be a mod. If your answer is less than wanting the forum to grow, then you're probably not mod grade material. Not everyone is made to be a mod, it takes a pretty special person to deal with the bullshit that comes with that thank-less "job."
Honestly X, you've been an issue here, and I'm not saying all your banning and Assboxing's were all warranted, but I will say you've been given enough warning shots over the proverbial bow that none of this should come as a shock to you anymore. I personally like you, X. I think you're funny and I think deep down you have a kind heart. With that being said, if it were up to me, I would not appoint you as a mod, yet. I would want to observe you for at least 6 months. Have you ever been a mod? Fo you know to work a panel without fucking threads up? As of today, in my very biased opinion, you are not mod material and you would need a lot of work. My biggest fear, from what I saw between you and jack, is that you might have been tempted to use the mod panel like Alticus. X, don't take any of this as gospel, these are strictly my opinions, BF may think otherwise and I hope he does.
In closing, you have alot going for you, X. It's just sometimes you get too focused, just like we all do from time-to-time, it's a good idea to take those blinders off occasionally. I hope your quest in being a mod comes to fruition.
