The pastry has to be really good. It is key. And the main ingredients have to be top quality and fresh...because you are tasting the main ingredients, not being overwhelmed with spices or condiments.

Don't be an idiot, of course he'll like them. smhI think it'll be tough getting the pastry just right. You might want to try a restaurant or go to a friend's house who can make them. I have a close friend from Scotland and she makes them.
