Barbara Bush, daughter of George Bush, campaigns for Harris
Former President George W. Bush, 78, has said he
on this year's divisive, coin-toss election.
But his daughter, Barbara Bush, 42, is backing Harris. She spent part of last weekend campaigning for the vice president in Pennsylvania,

"It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend," Barbara Bush said in a statement to the magazine. "I’m hopeful they'll move our country forward and protect women’s rights."
Her namesake and late grandmother, former first lady Barbara Bush,
in 2018 that she "probably" would not still consider herself a Republican, in an interview months before her death. The matriarch of a prominent GOP family blamed Trump for making the party unrecognizable to her.
