I recently spent time in the LA area. I stayed in Santa Monica. I didn't see one tent myself. Not to say there aren't tents for the homeless, there are. But not Fox News hysteria amount of tents.

Someone I know works with housing homeless. It's a difficult job because so many of them have co-morbidities, mental illness and addiction. They are certifiably insane in many cases. The state is working on finding housing for them. You'd think they'd go anywhere. Nope, they are picky.

I have a disgusting story about Seattle… I was on Capitol Hill in the scuzzy part where the homeless panhandle on one of the main streets. These 2 homeless people in their 30s were in front of the market I was walking into with my male companion and one of them is laid out on the floor. He completely shit himself and there was shit broth all over the sidewalk while his partner was using a business card to scrape the shit broth away from them. They didn’t even move. Heroin is one hell of a drug.


I took one look at the security guard standing at the door and in horror asked him “WTF?!? Is that heroin?” and he confirmed. They didn’t even call the ambulance. They are going to let all these POSs die on the street.
