We actually could.
Not gracefully, it must be said, like *at all* even though society would no doubt suddenly enact a great many new accommodations for the condition to help us cope.

Okay some of us probably wouldn't survive... but most would because we'd have no other choice and we'd enjoy all that institutional support that for *some* reason doesn't seem to exist for women.
