I have a kazoo but I'd never sell it.
. It's a 1930's Original Tin KaZoo. Priceless.
Probably very much like the one used here in the ISB version of Ain't Got No Home in This World Anymore: (you got to listen all the way thru to get the full grandeur of effect, or skip to about 6 minutes if you're a faggit)

I have a kazoo but I'd never sell it.

I once had a shoebox full of kazoos that I took to school and started selling for a nickel apiece. They were flying out of the box so fast I had to start raising the price and eventually sold the last ones for a quarter each. Between classes the hallways were raucous with dozens of kazoos all going off at once.

They traced them back to me and I got called to the principal's office for a chewing out over being a bloody great nuisance.

I know, right?
Me... a nuisance? Pshaw.
Only goes to prove that people can change if they want.

Acoustic Instruments are cheap these days Lex @The Prowler

I saw a baby grand at auction advertised starting bid $25. it didn't sell. no takers. the Auctioneer was disappointed

Ive seen hand made harpsichord for less than $1000. that's chesp.

I bet there are some good deals on high quality guitars too

What do you mean by "cheap" Senile @Joe?

It probably needed work. If people do not maintain and neglect their instruments, it can become more costly to refurbish them that to just replace them.

Wow.

I think the used market might be saturated right now because a lot of people bought instruments (especially guitars) during the Covid shutdown.

So many dreams of sitting around the campfire strumming catchy tunes and impressing their friends and family.

And then actually trying to play and realizing "Shit, this is hard!"

Some people will always prefer live music, Senile @Joe.

I have 5 big gigs booked (so far) this summer.
