Lettuce contamination at near catastrophic levels

You might be right if I had ever "labeled a whole group" anything.
. The fact is exactly what I said it is, and the reason is that things, as I have already stated, that we grow up learning and knowing are not as commonly known and practiced elsewhere. Much has to do with economic status, education, and broader culture. Some of the most intelligent and educated foreign workers I have known are from the subcontinent, but you seem to give a pass to the likes of Jacklyn and Adminced when they 'label"people, ones who may or may not have ancestry from the region or ever lived there, as streetshiters. Now can you explain to me why you as a completely objective person want to jump on me and make false and unfounded accusations, but look the other way when the aforementioned openly racist posters talk dirty about " a whole group"?

Let me axes you something. Do you know what national character is? You understand the concept...it never applies to every individual, just to tendencies which define culture. Would it be racist to say slants (okay, give me a minute to enable the comedy font there) are disposed to valuing education, or is it simply factual?

. Here's another thing to consider while on the subject of fecal contaminants in agricultural products. From the beginnings of humans growing food in fields, dung, feces, poopies of all kind (that including the people's) have been used as fertilizer. You think that that just magically stopped because you don't like the thought that the workers themselve might still be fertilizing the fields or have less compunctions about handling human waste than the average 1st worlder? Well....nope.
Best agree to disagree

More lettuce for thought. Ours in California comes from the Salinas valley. Yours in the East comes from mostly from California and Arizona. Some does come from Mexico, along with other fruits and vegetables that we all eat, especially cucumbers. Y’all must like pickles?

I will be preparing my evening salad and it will include cucumber. I will check for the manufacturers label.

Oh and PS:
Best agree to disagreest agree to disagree
. There is nothing to disagree about. I am presenting you the facts as observed directly and know by a person who has not led the isolated life that many here have. There is no guess work, or hearsay about it. IT IS FACT. Nothing I have written is at all disputable or a matter of opinion. If you or anyone else disagreed with me it is because they DO NOT KNOW.

Just make sure you wash the Mexican shit off it before you eat it.
I always wash the shit out of all produce I don't care where it comes from. The one exception I make is when I'm out hiking the berry and grapeways. I like them just as nature produced them unaltered and untouched by human hands.

PS: the Blackberries are coming along nicely. Yum yum.
...not that you care what I write, Reggie, but some other casual reader might.

I've got blackberries in my backyard. We call them Mulberries here, so it may be a different berry. The berries here ripen later in the season.

You're probably thinking of some kind of dirty berry bush that's been mutated by all the pollution in them New Jersey landfills.

Mulberry is a different berry but very similar. Mulberry is the fruit of the Mulberry tree. Weird right?
. As you can see the fruit is somewhat oblong, less rounded than the Blackberry or Black Raspberry.
