It's not about "tolerant". Mine doesn't have to "tolerate" anything, we're not legally tied together. He can walk out the door any time he wants. What he doesn't do is run my life or tell me what to do with my time. I also don't do that to him either.
We don't play games with one another. Everything is out on the table.
