I read that Caskur quietly passed away in her sleep recently. I am broken up about it.

I met Caskur almost 2 decades ago. She was such a good sport. She was fun, and never took the forums too seriously. She was an artist, a mother, and a wife. I loved Caskur's positive outlook on life. I know she loved life, and the people in her life.

I will miss her offbeat humor, and I will miss her.

Guys, we lost another one. We keep dropping like flies. This one hurts, this one hurts real bad.

I will miss you, Caskur. My friend. Rest in peace old gal. Your pain is over.

A fond memory of Caskur.

I use to host poker games online, and Caskur wanted to play. I remember thinking everyone that played I knew personally except her. It wasn't a big online game, maybe 24 people at max. And it was on Tuesdays of all days because of my work schedule at the time. So, to host a game, I had to open one of my ports to the internet. I remember thinking, Caskur could totally fuck me if she wanted to. And to that old gals credit she never did. We played for about 18 months before The Absolute Poker server went down and the company went tits up with everyone's money.

Caskur was such a sweet lady, she was there when I graduated from college, saying she was proud of me. She was there when I got my first job out of college at Verizon as a Jr. Marketing Manager. She was there when I was promoted to District Marketing Manager. She was there when I got married and congratulated me with a nice bouquet. She was there when I had my first child and walked me through some of the things new mothers go through. She was there...she was just there. Now she isn't.

She irritated me for a few reasons to begin with like she was using the boards to work through her issues. I got used to her though or I got over it. In the end there was far worse on here than old Caskur and a lot of her banter was OK. I remember when I chopped he kitchen mosaic into the grubble monster, she got the funny side and didn't have a shitfit over it.

No Flynn was around long before that but after Pick got outed, because of Facebook, Picks couldn't return as Mr. Pickles after Caskur smashed him, and she was given the info from someone else, but had the nadz to post it. Caskur was banned for a year because of that incident at TRF, Martini took a year off, but Pickles came back as Damage, Inc. at first then Flynn. It's such a whirlwind of nonsense now that I think of the shit 'we' collectively did I'm embarrassed to even discuss it but I can honestly say they were funny times if you were there.
Caskur and CW, among others, took things a little too far for my liking, but I went along with it just the same.
