I am sad.

It is raining and today is the annual Open Day at The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada for regular supporters of the sanctuary.

My wife and I have been looking forward to it for a while now.

We have gone for years and it is a great day to spend time with the donkeys and learn some things too.

It is raining too hard and the place will be a muddy mess, so we are not going.

Theres no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. Get yourself a Flasher mack and some wellies. It's not like you even need to worry about your hair getting wet and going frizzy

Cute, I didn’t know we had a donkey sanctuary

It would be less than an hour drive for you. Just a few minutes off the 401 at Highway 6 North (Guelph).

There are lots of donkeys and some mules and hinnies.

Too many donkeys get neglected on farms and this place does great work giving them a good life.

If you like animals, I highly recommend going there on one of their "Open Days".
