The Young Firebrands such as Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert & others are positioning themselves as the successors/heirs of the the Republican dynasty.

They're likely plotting the New House Speaker's Downfall already.

I don't think they even care about 2024 or how divided the Republican Party is today.
They're young, ambitious and they're preparing for the future.

I suspect after the Donald fails in 2024, someone like Ron de Santis will be the front runner in 2028 and that's what they're planning for.

Kevin McCarthy represents the Old Guard whose reign the 'Young Turks' will attempt to derail.
