Big Big East matchup tonight.
Creighton kicked Nova ass last week or so ago

Back home tonight can Cats recover from that beatdown and a lose to lowly Butler?

8:30 Eastern (the only time zone that matters)

Do they play anyone but patsies?

Who the fuck have they beat?
I saw them play Loyola a few days ago.
They could barely handle them.

They'll get a 1 seed, win two and get shellacked by the 1st quality team they face.

I said they were my teams. I didn't say they were good. Lately. Uconn was tops for a long time.

No clue. This has been a fucked up year.
Wisconsin, Michigan are in. Uconn will get knocked out. Michigan will make it to the final 4.

Cats kicking ass at the half 42-23

Only problem - Gillespie injury.
Cats came to revenge the loss - will now win Big East Reg Season title.
A fine showing so far.

PS: what's this thread doing in Introductions.
People moving my threads again?

...and Cats clinch Big East Title
Moore with a very fine performance as you can see from the box score.

. No flaming here, folks
Just man talk....

Mutherfucker!
Nova had a chance before this - chance gone.
Collin is a very game player.
I hope he can get back and have a post collegiate career.
If you see the play on which the injury occurred - no one's fault - just dumb shit bad luck.

Best of everything To Collin.

This year!

We've been waiting for sooooo long for Gonzaga to bring home a title. I thought they might win one back in 2017.

Now. If only Gonzaga can avoid the upsets in the first 2 rounds.

. Their offensive stats look good, and they had some quality wins early in the year
but they have a very soft conference schedule.
.They won't be tested till the 3rd round of the NCAA tournament
then they'll have to face top 20 teams the rest of the way.

I'm not sure I agree with your assessment about Gonzaga's schedule. If they were going to lose it would have been early on in the season.

With wins over Kansas, Virginia and West Virginia behind them, I firmly believe that Gonzaga hasn't had that easy of a schedule.

You also have to take into consideration that Gonzaga has the best starting 4 out 5 players in their conference according to kenpom.com as of February.

I'm not saying they suck, but RPI has them with at 57 strength of schedule.
Yes - they had some early quality wins, they definitely have some shooters
but they aren't deep, and playing 40 minutes against very good teams with deeper rotations
will test them like their conf opponents don't.
Other than BYU nothing this year in their conference..

They are a good team - no doubt of it though. Not sure if they are really elite though.

It's really hard to tell with Gonzaga at times, because they have been a powerhouse for as long as I can remember.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. They could get blown out in the first round.

NCAA March Madness - my favorite sporting event, other than maybe Summer Olympics.
Zags in good shape though.
I root for NovaCats.

Michigan is taking a licking from Michigan State. Pathetic.
Stats look even except for a big disparity in Free Throws.

At least they didn't loose to Providence in spite of outscoring them by 15 in the 2nd half.
That was Villanova.

Michigan will probably keep a 1 seed - really there's no one behind the top 3 teams.

I'm betting on all underdog teams tomorrow getting 4.5 points or more. That's gonna be my system.
