It's not my country @Reggie_Essent but what I'd be more inclined to do is restructure the department and put more funding into science & technology skills training

But I think itd be a mistake to eliminate it altogether tho you might have a point about wasteful education spending on unproductive disciplines that don't contribute to economic growth

This is Brian Driscoll - the accidental FBI Director who went from running the Newark field office to becoming one of the most discussed figures in American law enforcement.

The story of how he got the job is peak Trump baffoonery. Someone on Trump's tech team made a website error - listing him as acting director instead of interim director. But before anyone could fix it - boom - Driscoll was running the FBI. Talk about failing upward.

The biggest surprise is that instead of being another Trump yes-man - Driscoll turned out to be more of a "thanks but no thanks" kind of guy. When the DOJ started sniffing around for agents to throw under the bus over January 6 investigations - Driscoll basically told them to fuck off.
