Does Lotus still have me on ignore? Lol.
She runs hot and cold with the ignorance button. :Grin3:
TRUMP sacrificed everything to try and save this ungrateful country.

A person should be careful about being too biased either way.

that's what I thought the message of Tucker's latst rant really was about.

Don't tow somebody's party line. Think for yourself..

Form a methodology such as:

1. Assemble the facts from as many diverse news sources possible.
(ie - Fox, CNN/MSNBC, BBC, PBS, Economist, NewsMaxx, Al Jazeera, Epoch Times, AP, Reuters, Daily Mail, RT, Observer, SkyNewsetc etc)

2. Then assess each on its merits

3. See where the facts line up & where they don't on a news story or issue.

4. Then draw your own conclusions on who's right or wroong.

5. Form your own judgements/conclsions

6. Above all else, don't become hostage/beholden to anyone or organization.

Al Jazeera is good. Marwan Bishara is one of my favourite journalists.

I watch Al Jazeera and RT. I must be a commie.

They want authoritarianism against their political opposition.

They have no tolerance for people who oppose their system and ideology. They are mad as fuck because so many people dared to go against them.

It was a disgrace the way Big Tech decided to unilaterally shut down Parler.

Even Liberal media channels outlets voiced their opposition to it.

And a recent lawsuit of $3.7 billion against Fox and having to drop Lou Dobbs from their channel

So in some respects, Tucker's fears are not unjustified

Big Tech has too much unchecked power and their excesses need to be reined in.

There has to be the creation of a watch dog for them much like the FCC regulates televison.

it's important that Americans such as yourself make the most noise about it because that's where the Big Tech companies are located and the laws they operate under. Europe has tried to put the brakes on Big Tech, but of course it doesn't have the economic clout of the US, so it has to start at home.

You may not think you have any power, but if millions in the US voice their opposition to them, Big Tech may be forced to back down, at least a bit.
