I’ve been wearing my hair the same way for years….essentially a pony tail, it’s easy & low maintenance but damn it’s time for a change….thanks for the response.
now I’ve just got to work up the nerve to do it

that hair cut looks cool tho, but it leaves you without the long hair option

there’s also literally hundreds of clip in options during the grow out process if I don’t like it.
