What gets me is how these people are almost always in bed when the court people show up lol.
Like they had no ideabthis was coming....you literally get several notices and a date when they are coming. And when they show up they are coming in and moving your shit out no matter what your plans are lol.
These people are never even packed! They'll be in bed...nothing even packed, acting all surprised trying to negotiate.
This is what happens with people who have rarely had to deal with consequences or accountability.
In my 20s I got served with an eviction notice because I was a week late on my rent. I was a week late because I sent my idiot ex to pay it. He fucking took the money and blew it. Told me he lost the rent receipt and I was dumb and just trusted he paid it. Nope. I had to go into my savings to pay it twice.
I panicked at that notice. I had that dealt with that day. I felt sick with dread and confusion. I cannot even imagine letting that go and just living like nothing is happening right up until they come to move all your shit to the sidewalk. Lmao!
