It was a bloodbath back then, I remember sitting on street curbs outside bars with PPV, drinking beers and smoking weed watching the fights , even buy take out from them ..haha real bashings in those days

Dad went down today , stroke from a clot in his brain , little anxious and my mom wants me nowhere near her I guess.. probs an emotion thing but who knows, it seems ongoing the rejection I'm experiencing lately ..

Sorry for your loss, I had very mixed feelings about my Dad when he passed, it took time but I am at peace with him, we only get the one, make the best of it we can.

Just got home from a Veteran's Day Honor Flag field event and then a late lunch/early dinner with family.

The grandson's choir sang a mix of patriotic song, including a medley where they sang the songs for each branch of the military. It was a very nice event.

Writing this post. Procrastinating about clicking the 'Post Reply' key. Thinking about how meta this is. Realizing that things being 'meta' is getting pretty played out.
