The sky has a weird orange/yellow glow, the air is hazy and it smells like smoke, despite the wildfires in Canada being 600 miles away. I've never seen it like this before, and so many outdoor events and activities are being canceled. Those fires are so out of control it's going to be like this for a long time.

We have a high of 74 today which feels ok. This weekend we will be in Vegas for my brother in law's birthday and it is supposed to be 114! Talk about an inferno.
